Julia L. Jenness, a shareholder with Boutin Jones, is a member of the firm's Employment Law, Corporate and Securities, and Lender Support practice groups. She serves as outside General Counsel and Special Counsel to medium and large companies, including financial institutions, manufacturing companies, special districts, trade associations, and nonprofit corporations. She has experience in board governance, unfair competition issues, and regulatory compliance. Ms. Jenness represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. She has extensive experience in complex harassment investigations for both public and private entities, and routinely advises employers on reductions in force, and employee training, counseling, discipline, and termination issues. She also advises employers on wage and hour issues as well as reasonable accommodation issues under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act.
