Bruce M. Timm, a shareholder in the firm, is a member of the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Practice Groups. Mr. Timm litigates employment law matters in state and federal courts on behalf of private and public entity employers. He has defended clients in matters involving claims of sexual harassment, discrimination (including disability, race and gender discrimination), wrongful termination, wage/hour violations, workplace retaliation (including whistleblower, workers’ compensation and OSHA related retaliation) and disputes under the California Family Rights Act. Mr. Timm has defended numerous individuals/managers against accusations of sexual harassment. He also has represented clients in connection with administrative claims before the Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Labor Commissioner and the Public Employment Relations Board, and has provided general preventative advice to assist clients in avoiding litigation.
